The following paper examines Ellis’s cognitive psychological concepts based on his theory Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy which teaches how to adapt rationally and emotionally to situations, making use of behavioral tools to effectively stop your unwanted patterns. The main criticism of this book is the style of writing and its lack of focus on the therapies of cognitive psychology.
