The individuals first, shall attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to the guidelines, expiations and goals of the learning team and the Learning Team Charter immediately, and only within the first 24 hours of the dispute through negotiation in an attempt to reach a voluntary settlement/resolution to the dispute at the lowest level. Should any individual refuse to participate in negotiation that individual looses his/her position and the dispute is then settled.

If the dispute cannot be settled through negotiation within the first 24 hours, then the individuals shall participate in conciliation with an interested party (Another Team Member) here after referred to as the conciliator. The conciliator will try to help the individuals reach a resolution of their dispute. Conciliation should not exceed 1 hour. Should any individual refuse to participate in conciliation that individual looses his/her position and the dispute is then settled.
If the dispute cannot be settled through conciliation, then the individuals shall participate in arbitration. The interested party (Another Team Member) then becomes the arbitrator and here after referred to as such. During arbitration, each individual will be given 5 minutes to restate their case and/or provide any additional information. After each individual has presented the arbitrator will rule on the dispute.
The arbitrator’s ruling is final and shall be accepted by disputing individuals as such. All individuals shall be required to respect each other and to conduct themselves in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct of University of Phoenix.
