All Antonio Saltier longed for was to be a brilliant musician and represent his faith through music. He devoted his life to the study of classical music.
Saltier hoped and prayed that he would the best and even. Saltier became the king’s concert master so he was living the life he wanted. Then came along Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. HIS music was the voice of God according to Saltier. Saltier deeply envied Mozart natural skill and talent. Saltier was upset with God because he gave his talent to this Immature, Juvenile, infant who devoted his life to a life of debauchery and contempt.Even through all his hate and envy for Mozart, Sellers possessed a secret admiration of Mozart.
He did not miss a single one of his plays and tried his best to Imitate his style of music. Very soon after, Sellers vowed revenge and planned to murder the ;Instrument of god”; which Is Caller’s actual plan. Sellers found Mozart weakness and of which Inspired the foundation of his plan. He dressed as Mozart father, knowing that Mozart would do anything to please his recently passed father. Alert, dressed as Amadeus’ father, asked him to compose a song for a funeral. Little did Mozart know that he was composing for his very own funeral. The song Mozart was composing is the song that Saltier was going to take credit for to regain fame and popularity.
The only objective left to do was to actually murder Mozart. Saltier was not one to murder but the music piece drove Mozart mad and died of anxiety and depression. Saltier felt guilty nonetheless and acclaimed to the murder of God’s chosen instrument of music. I absolutely loved the movie.Although it dragged on some parts, the historical event behind it is phenomenal. I believe that the audience an really have empathy for Saltier because it happens often in our lives. The way the movie was presented stimulated synchronized feelings with Saltier: Feelings of stress, depression, envy, madness, and disappointment in God.
The movie is subtle in the Nay how it was not centrally focused on Amadeus, but Galleries personal grudge with God. Saltier loves Mozart himself but the talent that was supposed to be his was given to Mozart. What I didn’t like about the movie is that, although it definitely expressed Wolfgang brilliance through Galleries story, it sort of degraded Amadeus’ petition. Wolfgang actor executed this very well. I felt as if he really was a fool and did not deserve the talent he got. The title of the movie is simple however clever. I Initially thought the aim of the movie was to document the life of Wolfgang Amadeus because of the title.
The movie does not center around Mozart but on one of his many admirers, Saltier. The Music in this film reached and exceeded my expectations. The translators “ere clever. The Music starts to linger In the alarm as the envy Inside Sellers builds, and s It Intensifies towards the climax, the scene translators Into one of Mozart plays; He Is composing one of his very famous pieces. When the music piece finally reaches climax, the camera moves to Sellers hidden In his balcony suite. He Is crying as If God himself Is talking to him and the audience applauds; further pushing Callers self esteem down his own throat. The shot composition, lighting, and pacing were all decent.
The shot composition, complimented by good music, was schematically ‘arioso effects on mood. The colors were dim and warm when Mozart is composing, paving the setting a cozy yet very full aura. Whenever a person would die, such as Mozart father and Mozart himself, the movie used natural lighting and saturated the colors eliciting a more grayish gloomy feeling. I would recommend this film to people who have time to watch it. Although it is a great movie, it is very long and tedious to watch. I recommend it for long car rides or when you simply have lots of time to kill. I don’t believe it is exactly fit for the teen audience however the overall message could be understood by most mature viewers.
