This essay will focus on the internal factors which guarantee a failure in a class essay. These factors include absenteeism and failure to observe punctuality, note memorization, poor understanding, failure to do other assignments, failure to consult, avoiding discussion and lack of comprehensive notes. The analysis in the succeeding sections focuses on these factors in depth. To start with, absenteeism and failure to observe punctuality are two related factors which led to a similar end results. If you are determined to fail, then you must ignore the following facts. ) Time is a non-renewable resource that constrains everyone regardless of power or status. b) In the learning process, time-keeping is a requirement and not a choice (Aimee 78). c) Absenteeism means total failure to attend a lecture or an examination and its costly to a student. d) Punctuality implies failure to be in the right place within the provided time frame and leads to loss of time. As a general rule, for a course instructor to give out an essay he/she must first give a lecture about the requirements and the guidelines needed in the essay writing process.

Therefore, when you miss these crucial directives then a failure in an essay is inevitable. Consequently, note memorization becomes a solution that aims to compensate for the time lost due to absenteeism. The practice involves intensive cramming process that aims at retaining as much as possible in the shortest time possible (Sieglinde 88). The users of the practice ensure that they do not waste much time on trying to analyze points and arguments critically, but rather they aim at using their mind to capture information word by word and in the similar sequence as it appear in the source document.

With that rough understanding, it usually becomes extremely easy to comprehensively understand the topic in question; once the course instructor finally discusses it. Conversely, if a student is determined to fail it is incredibly easy. This is because he/she needs to just memorize notes and consequently understand almost nothing. In other words, this is a sure way of scoring poorly in class essay. Beside absenteeism, note memorization and poor understanding; ignoring assignments and failing to complete them within the stipulated time, is another way towards poor performance in essay writing. For a course to be understood by students, a professor or course instructor needs to assess the progress of his/her students (Aimee 73).

The same principle applies in the learning process, in schools and other institutions and if its avoided failure is guaranteed.

When students interact among themselves, they usually have a chance of consulting one another on issues related to the course being studied. In the consultation process, critical questions related to the course are raised and answers provided. Apart from consultation between and amongst students, course instructors need also to be consulted by students. Through discussion and consultation, you can avoid wrong interpretation of points as well as superficial understanding of the materials being taught (Aimee 212).

In that case, the negatively affected student cannot make comprehensive notes, which are more straightforward and easy to comprehend. Since an essay writing process starts with learning, comprehending and finally reproducing the materials in an essay form, then failure to consult and make comprehensive notes leads to failure in a class.
