In my case its life experience which proved to be my turning point for building up a career for better future. My grandfather was suffering from hemophilia. I had grown up seeing the plight of his suffering with the ailment. Those difficult days of him still hangs around in my eyes.This particular incident made me sit and think. Give us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for- because unless we stand for something we shall fall for anything” Peter Marshall knew the importance of having a vision and belief when he quoted the above. It is very necessary for each one of us to have an aim, or a purpose in life.
Once that is done our journey to our destination becomes much easier; because what the mind believes the heart follows. It is said that having a vision is 80% of your job done.The remaining 20% comprises hard work and skill. What makes me stand out from the hundred others armed tit such skills is a concrete belief in myself, and the courage of my convictions. I have been motivated throughout my life by the example set to me by my father and my Uncles who are all self made men. They have taught me that circumstances can be won over and we are what we make of ourselves. During school years, I took a very serious attitude towards study.
I have proven that am a good worker by putting my effort into everything I do and excel in my everyday life.I’ve truly blossomed through whatever challenges came my way . It was during the final phase of my schooling, that I got a adder to reach my destiny-. Physiotherapy is a vast field of study with a plethora of unexplored areas that await for someone to discover them. The field of physiotherapy is always changing, just as is the case with all fields of medicine. The opportunities are endless and the greatest opportunity of all is being able to help people recover from a variety of disabling conditions.In order to gain initial practical experience , did six months of internship in GANDHI hospital and MR.
hospital where had an opportunity to interact with different types Of patients ,doctors and other staff Of the capital and played an active role according to their expectation. I always had a good rapport with my faculty and interacted with them to gain better knowledge regarding the subject. My final year project was an “Physiotherapy management in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease”.This project was exciting and fascinating and whetted my appetite for in depth research and further education to understand latest trends and methods. Academically I was always comfortably placed among the top five percentile of my class. This did not hinder me from contributing actively towards extracurricular activities organized by our educational institution both during my intermediate and during my bachelors degree, which complimented the extrovert in me. I participated enthusiastically in sports, seminars, quizzes competitions and cultural programs.
The values of compassion and empathy have been ingrained in me from my formative years and this has encouraged me towards volunteer work. Am particularly passionate about spreading awareness regarding HIVE/AIDS and I have participated in many awareness drives. Most of the fun time outside class, gain from volunteering work and physical exercises. Enjoy working in teams and believe that my individual abilities are best put into use within a team. My teamwork experience includes many curricular and extracurricular activities which I attended or volunteered, including seminars, school festivals and competitions.Working in teams has made me a flexible person, who knows how to listen to the opinions of others and how to express myself. As a result, others are able to better understand my intentions and ideas The time spent volunteering at Health care center for elderly at Bandaged village also gave me invaluable experiences and taught me thoughtful lessons of life.
Earned how people, from children to elderly, are struggling in every day’s life and how lucky am to have a family besides caring for me.There is a tremendous demand for engineers and professionals who can work with the modern technology and meet the highest international standards. I feel that an education abroad will give me a more thorough and in-depth understanding of the new developments. I hope to acquire all the skills that will help me to use the best technology and fulfill my goal to be a highly competent professional in my field. Looking towards the future on my quest for knowledge and higher earning find myself willing and ready to make the transition into the next phase of my academic career. . My goal is to study masters in the field of Physiotherapy. After completing my Masters in Physiotherapy I see myself working in the health care industry’ for a few years. My future aim after the completion of post-graduation is to set up an exclusive physiotherapy clinic in my own country.I wish to equip the clinic with the latest equipment and to function it with an efficient team . My ultimate ambition is to serve people for betterment of their lives by bringing awareness in the public regarding the benefits of physiotherapy. Want this scholarship because it will help me achieve my goal of being somebody constructive in the world.
