Instead of buying multiple shirts, pairs of pants, expensive pairs of shoes etc. they only have to buy two or three different outfits for the entire year, and possibly years to come. Due to the limited amounts of clothing to wear to school, students are forced to be cleaner and more careful.
If they’re cleaner, that would mean not as any washes at home, therefore, less money. They can use the money saved on more important things like monthly payments. They’ll save money to spend on more important things. In conclusion, school uniforms should be mandatory in public schools. Everyone will feel equal if they are all wearing uniforms. There wouldn’t be any problems with offensive clothing or dress code because the whole school is wearing uniforms. The families of the students will spend less money throughout the school year.
