Patient who suffered from chronic pain in multiple areas including lower back, legs, knee joints and feet after listened to the music, they felt that heir pain has reduced and their self-esteem has increased. Furthermore, music can accelerate the healing process (Adjoin, 2006).When we are in better mood, we will think positively and recover faster from our pain but if we think negatively, it will slower our recovery time.
Another health benefit of music is it has beneficial effects for individuals during exercise. When we are doing exercise while listening to a music or an pod, it will produces more positive mood states than do not listen to music at all (American Journal Health Behavior, 2011). Masochism (2005) states that when we are listening to music while jogging, We don’t feel the time pass by.
