For example, when we feel angry, we usually listen to music that more to rock genre. We sang along with the lyrics and scream out to express our anger.
When doing so, our mood will calm slowly. Most people also have their own favorite songs depending on their situation. Sometimes when we in sad emotion, we usually listen to sentimental song because it suits with our emotion. For example, a happy person when listens to happy song, he or she will become even happier but a sad song cause a sad people become even sad.It is clearly shown on their face. According to Adjoin (2006), people who study music can get better grades in their studies. This has been proven that Hungary, Japan and Netherlands are the top three academic countries in the world. These countries made music education as one of their priority subjects in every school. They also always involved and participated in music. In addition, human brain has the similar patterns as musical note.Composing a music will enhance not only our language learning but also math skills and social skills. Besides, different genres of music can give a strong effect on concentration and memorization (Rebellion, 2005; Manually, 201 1).

D. ) as cited in Adjoin (2006), music has the ability to reduce chronic pain by up to 21%.People who suffered from chronic pain listen to music everyday can improve physical and psychological symptoms. Nordstrom (2006) states that a variety of different music selection and styles can help patient who suffering from chronic and nonmalignant pain. Patient who suffered from chronic pain in multiple areas including lower back, legs, knee joints and feet after listened to the music, they felt that heir pain has reduced and their self-esteem has increased. Furthermore, music can accelerate the healing process (Adjoin, 2006).When we are in better mood, we will think positively and recover faster from our pain but if we think negatively, it will slower our recovery time.
Another health benefit of music is it has beneficial effects for individuals during exercise. When we are doing exercise while listening to a music or an pod, it will produces more positive mood states than do not listen to music at all (American Journal Health Behavior, 2011). Masochism (2005) states that when we are listening to music while jogging, We don’t feel the time pass by.
