We Stitch These Wounds by Black Veil Brides

10 October 2019

“We Stitch These Wounds” was written by Lead singer Andrew Biersack and ex-guitarist David “Pan” Burton. It was then performed by Andrew (Vocals), Jinxx (rhythm guitar, violin, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Ashley Purdy (bass, backing vocals) and Sandra Alvarenga (drums). The people responsible for production were Blasko (producer), G. Preston Boebel (producer, engineer, mixing), Dave Casey (sound design), Josh Newell (vocal, producer, engineer mixing) and Troy Roe (Main Background Vocals). Andrew Biersack was bullied severely throughout his school years and decided to take his pain to paper and used it to write music. The album features hit songs “Knives and Pens” and “Perfect Weapon”. Both songs were also released as singles and “Knives and Pens” has an acoustic version.
“We Stitch These Wounds” features several inspirational songs, including: “Knives and Pens” and “Perfect Weapon”. The songs of this album go as follows: The Outcasts, We Stitch These Wounds, Beautiful Remains, Children Surrender, Perfect Weapon, Knives and Pens, The Mortician’s Daughter, All Your Hate, Heavans Calling, Never Give In, Sweet Blasphemy, and Carolyn. The lyrics are written to bring together the social outcasts of the world. The music is a mix of rock, classical, and synthetic instruments. The album cover art is designed to show the physical representation of the albums title. One of the songs, “Perfect Weapon”, is about no letting society bring you down and rising from the darkness and into the light. “Knives and Pens” is about using your pain to create something beautiful rather than hurting yourself.
I strongly recommend that you download this because the lyrics help you if you are in great pain. The mix of low-tempo and high-tempo beats constantly keep you listening to the very inspirational lyrics. For all you guys and girls out there that are dealing with the oppression of society, listen to this album. I guarantee you that the lyrics will ease your pain and make your life so much easier.
